Casting

Main Character:

Since our soundtrack of selection is performed by Lorde, a female artist, our foremost requirement is a female. We intend to cast someone who is comfortable in front of a camera and able to give a range of expressions as well as lip sync well.

I reached out to my cousin Haya, hoping she would agree to an audition. Our final choice for the music video is Haya Shoaib. She is ideal for this project because she is the appropriate age we were looking for and her Tiktok profile affirms her ability to be good at lip syncing, comfortable in front of the camera, and expressive.
